Hey yah all,
Its been many months since I have been on here and now my husband is going away for around 5 weeks I think its time to start up again.
I am now around 84 Kilos so I have lost quite a bit, I am going to set my goal to weigh in around 70 Kilos.
Is this a realistic goal for 5 weeks to lose 13 kilos?
I hope so because I want to suprise my husband for when he comes back to see a changed me
I havent been on the exercise machine or looked after my diet in a long time so am a bit worried that I can't get back into the routine as I was before. Does anyone have any tips or fat burning foods to help me?
All the help would be appreciated

1st off you are in the right place MFP, just logging your calorie intake and out will help you see what you are doing. I cut out fast foods, soda and all other high calories foods from the start. You will have to read the labels to see what the calorie content is in the foods that you eat or want to eat. A good portion of my shopping is based on reading labels so I know what is high in calories and fat. And I live a mostly vegetarian diet, so that helps a lot but isn't for everyone. I'm proof that a low calorie diet and exercise produces results. If you like you can add me as a MFP buddy, I will provide support and motivation along your quest.0

I think that is a bit high for a 5 week period... the only way you'd be able to do that would be eating very few calories and exercising like a mad woman. Not healthy! Instead surprise your husband by gradually and safely losing the weight. You're likely to keep it off longer by losing it in a less drastic way. Perhaps set a goal to lose 4 kilos by the time your hubby gets back. I'm sure he'd still notice! Good luck!0

Thanks for your imput everyone. I have revised my goal and decided to try and set my goal to 75 kilos so thats 9 kilos to lose.
I was silly enough to order that metabo weight loss tablets as they look soo tempting lol. I have tried them many years ago and with a balanced diet and exercise in the evening I was a good weight of a size 12 all they do is stop your appetite for food so more of a food replacement so I hope they ill work.
I have ordered weighing scales so that will be here in a few days I hope.
I too also think that my original goal was a bit high thats why I have revised it and hope it works out. I had lost the weight previously very easily just hope that I can do it again.0
