Your estimated BMR is: 1,441
so how many calories do I allow myself0 -
That seems real high unless your goal is to gain massive amounts of muscle and your working out like a mad person.
i would check your goals and the info you put into the system. if that doesnt work set custom goals based on your BMR and excersice plan.

jojojo,
Unless your bigger, have less body fat, and a higher metabolism then me, I find it hard to believe they gave you a even a maintain caloric intake of 2900.
I'm 6'2" 193 lbs, 34 years old, and male (it does make a difference for the metabolism, sorry ladies), and have about 17% body fat right now.
and MFP gives me 2700 calories to maintain my weight.
does this include your daily exercise?
If it's not too personal, throw your stats up, and what you want to achieve, and I'll run the numbers and tell you what I get (I'll need, age, weight, height, level of physical activity for your lifestyle).

Hehe, I thought so. Be ware though, 1200 is pretty low for 5'7", even with a slight figure, not saying it's wrong, just that it might be too aggressive. You might want to talk it over with a nutritionist.0 -

No wonder they thought you were a GIANT! Of course you'll need a lot of calories to keep 16ft tall living.
Glad you found out the mistake before you gained 5 x's the amount of weight you wanted to loose.0 -
 This is so incredibly funny  I needed a good laugh today  My keyboard is wearing out and it sometimes drops keys so I have to really edit everything I type. I typed my weight in once and it dropped one of the numbers so it showed I went from 160 to 16, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha0
