How long to wait before working out after eating...

i *used* to have the problem of getting really bad stomach cramps while exercising and it hindered my workouts... but i started waiting 3 hours after eating and they went away... is this waiting too long? overkill? has my body already consumed most of the energy i've eaten after 3 hours?

how long do you wait?

    Depends entirely on how much and what you're eating.

    I train fasted, one benefit being I avoid the above issue.

    I train fasted, one benefit being I avoid the above issue.

    my breakfast is always 2 waffles and 1 apple... about 300 calories every day, and that is all i eat before working out (hour of cardio)
