I make turkey chili and simple turkey burgers. For the chili, just replace the beef, or whatever other meat you might use. My burgers are simple-I just put a teaspoon of olive oil in the pan, pan fry with salt and pepper. Simple yet delightful!0

I love to add veggies to turkey burgers, it bulks them up and keeps them moist.
I'm not a recipe cooker, but I'll add chopped spinach and some feta cheese to turkey burgers
grated zuchinni and onion

I made them last night as a matter of fact....here is my recipe:
Turkey Burgers
1 pkg ground turkey
2 oz crumbled feta cheese
6 pitted chopped kalmata olives
2 cloves grated garlic
2 Tbsp grated onion
1 tsp oregano (or italian seasoning, whatever you like)
a little salt and pepper
Mix and form into 4 or 5 patties, cook well in a skillet with a little canola oil
(I don't like to do them on the outdoor grill because I find they break up too easily)
serve on a toasted wholegrain roll with a little lemon/dill mayo and lettuce
Lemon/Garlic Mayo
zest of one lemon
juice of 1/2 the lemon
1 grated garlic clove
4 Tbsp mayo
2 Tbsp fresh chopped chives (optional)
a few grinds of black pepper
a pinch of salt
Mix all together and put in fridge for the flavors to combine while you are making and cooking the burgers

I use Mrs. Dash Onion and Herbs seasoning as well as red pepper flakes on mine. I serve it on a bun with onion and a slice of tomato.0

In my house, we find that minced turkey or chicken burgers, on their own as a protein, are a bit dense and do not hold well.
Our basic recipe is:
1/2 pound (or about) minced turkey or chicken
1 egg
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt, pepper, oinion powder, garlic powder to taste
1/4 cup panko or seasoned bread crumbs
For a Mediterranean version, add basil and oregano; for an Asian version, add a bit of soy sauce, ginger and grilled sesame oil.
Mix ingredients, prepare the patties.
Cook in oiled pan or on the barbecue, having ensure that the BBQ grill is oiled and hot.0
