Hi everyone, I'm going to get sushi with my sister tomorrow. I've never eaten sushi before and I'm just wondering what some of your favorite items are and what the healthiest choices would be...thanks!

  • i order the soy beans in the shells there full of protein and yummy. I love sushi too avoid the soy sauce. Try sticking to one roll of sushi the calories add up.

I love sushi i crave it all the time... and i found a roll that instead of rice it's cucumbers and omg it's beyond yummy and refreshing... You can ask them when you get there do they have a roll that's wrapped in cucumbers no rice... I also love just fresh peices of sushi and don't eat the rice that's it's on.. Also Miso soup is very high in sodium it's so yummy but very high... If your not big on sushi i would stick with cooked instead of raw until you get use to it.

There is a fresh (cooked) crab roll that is amazing. It has different names different places, but it doesn't have anything fattening in it usually and sometimes comes with a ginger sauce that is really tasty. If you haven't tried sushi before, I recommend spicy tuna. It doesn't taste raw to me.

If your lucky the place your going might also have a roll where steamed cabbage is used instead of rice, probably similar to the cucumber sushi roll already meantioned.
