Thermogenic and HR monitor

Does anyone here take a thermogenic and use a heart rate to track their calories?
I definitely notice a difference between taking it and not. On the days when I take it, my heart rate is maintained at a higher level during exercise and I end up burning more calories. I also sweat a lot more. On the days when I forget to take it, my heart rate doesn't get as high doing the same exercise and I end up burning less calories according to my HR monitor. I also sweat less.
Has anyone experienced the same effect?
