C25K Treadmill Speed

I am about to start week 3 of C25K and was wondering what speeds you guys that are doing this on a treadmill do the walk and jog. I have been walking at 4.2 and jog at 5.5. Is this too fast or too slow?

    I don't really think there is a too fast or too slow, just pace yourself with what you're comfortable with.

    Agreed. For now your goal is to get the 5k not to do it fast, but to do it. Use a speed you are comfortable with. My husband says when running a road race that is the hardest part of the start everyone takes off at once and you get caught up in the start and tend to run too fast at the beginning. You have to know your pace and stick to it so you don't get so tired you cannot finish! Week 3 good for you keep going!

    I started with walking at 3.8 and jogging at 4.5. and worked my way up to walking at 4.5 and running at 7. It took a while to get there. Listen to your body, it's really the best gauge for anything!
