Several times, no scary stories though.0

I've used one with my cousin and my sisters once, just to scare ourselves. Nothing scarey happened though, I don't really believe in all of that.0

In elementary and middle school, but not as an adult.
My cousin had one and whenever we used it with one of her friends, it ALWAYS moved. But when my cousin and I tried to use it just the two of us, it never did.
Gee. I wonder why?
As a kid, that movie Witchboard scared the crap out of me. I watched it a few months ago and it was not scary. At all.0 -
No need to be scared of them. The Ouija board started out as a simple parlour game at the turn of the century. Then during WW1 some nutjob occultist somehow added the whole "talking to spirits" bit, ie the board can be used for divination.
Here's a great explanation of the ouija board by our good friend Penn & Teller in an episode of their excellent series "Bullsh*t":

If you haven't watched their other episodes debunking ridiculous occultisms and superstitions, you should watch it, very funny stuff!0 -

Wow, last time I used a Oujia board was in elementary or middle school, it was my friends birthday and we were camping. Six girls gathered around the Ouijia board asking if there were ghosts in the tent. Of course, the response received was a slow moving Y-E-S. We jumped up screaming and ran out the tent......I think if the response was N-O, we would have done the same thing. Oh to be young.0

I'm scared of them too. My sister's friend apparently brought one over for a sleepover and they used it in her room. I couldn't explain it then, but there was a point in my life that peering into my sister's room with the lights out would give me a panic attack. Didn't find out about the Ouija board incident until years later.0
