Weight loss and how you are treated at Work/People

I am very curious. I figured this was the best place to post this as I was looking to pile on the motivation for myself as well as others.
I have many goals and well ONE of them is losing weight to advance my career OR, rather, not hold it back because of what people may assume about me.
I would love to hear your story about how people changed. What did YOU notice about OTHER people when YOU lost the weight? Did people start treating you different? What have your body and attitude changes wrought in your life?

Now I work from home, so my only co-worker is my toddler.
But when I did work in an office, I noticed a big difference in how I was treated when I was in skinnier phases versus fatter ones. I worked with mostly men, and ironically it seemed the more space I took up, the more invisible I was! With my most recent (and most dramatic) weight loss, I even noticed my brother-in-law started being nicer to me, treating me more like a woman, if that makes any sense.

It was a combination of the weight loss and mostly the tri training I started in January (110 lbs lost, 230 lbs vs. 120 lbs, 5'4"), I became more assertive and confident and there's five people that unfriended me on FB and don't talk to me. They actually did me a favor, now I don't have to waste my time on them
One of them I had known 10 years+.

I have heard that there is a lot of obesity profiling in the workplace but I was never a victim. I was never obese, 10 pounds overweight at my heaviest. Because of that, reaction to my weight loss has been mostly negative in the workplace, female coworkers saying things like "You didn't need to lose weight", "Don't lose anymore!" "Why would you want to build muscle, muscles are for men!" But I don't let any of it get to me, I didn't do any of it to impress them lol.0
