hi,
I don't drink too much water during the day but i do have about 5 cups of black earl grey tea. Is this bad for me? should i cut it down??
I'm drinking plenty in the evening just not much while at work

As long as there is no milk or sugar in it, you can count it as water.
It may not be a good idea to drink that much, especially in the evenings.
There is quite a bit of caffeine in Earl grey which may mess up your sleeping routine, resulting in tiredness.0 -
I would say as long as you're not putting tons of sugar in your tea and as long as you are able to handle that level of caffeine intake (I've long since learned that everyone reacts to caffeine slightly differently), then that's totally fine. Tea is a much better choice of drink than soda or even juice. With no added sugar, it's nearly calorie free and has various health benefits depending on the type of tea you drink. I personally drink 16 ounces of green tea everyday and I love it (I had to switch from coffee after learning that large amounts of caffeine gives me headaches and anxiety attacks). Hope this helps!0
