protein shakes

Is it OK to drink protein shakes on your day off from exercise? Or after my 35 minutes of be fit in 90 that I do 5 days a week.

I drink protein shakes every day - they are a good source of protein and low in calories and sugar - you should calculate them in and add them in your normal calories.

    Thanks!
  • I drink them every morning regardless! They are great!

What if I don't do super heavy lifting or strenuous exercise? I think all the packaging scares me because it seems like it is only for heavy exercisers and muscle builders.

Whey is simply one of the two types of protein that's found in milk. There's nothing special about it, despite the marketing hype.
