Is anybody in a "mid-life" crisis.
I am, in a way. I'm trying to get back in the work force after being a SAHM for the last 11 plus years. I've been "working" as a freelance graphic designer during that time, but now that I'm searching jobs and social networks for a more steady income I'm overwhelmed. There is just so many resources out there and they are point to the fact that I don't know what the hell I'm doing. At least I fee that way. Anybody have some words of wisdom that will help me figure find my own path in this next chapter in my life without feeling like a complete looser?

I went back to work after 7 yrs and I started with something that I knew first and worked my way up. Start with your local collage to see if there is anything that you need to know like excel and powerpoint and go from there, they can help you put together a resume also. Good luck with this new chapter in your life.0

I'm not in a mid-life crisis. I did that about 10 years ago. I jokingly tell my wife, however, that she is going through a mid-life crisis. She just went out and bought a Mustang after being in a Taurus for the past 10 years. Now she's losing weight. Maybe on a manhunt?0
