Coffee drinkers

What do you puit in your coffee and how many calories is it? I'm a big coffee drinker, I usually drink any where from three to four in the morning. Its usually what I have for breakfast, now I'm making changes and trying to eat a real breakfast. I like mine with creamer and sugar, but today I found out that for one cup of coffee the way I like it is 100 calories, and I was drinking anywhere from three to four I need a way to bring down the calories.

I'm a pretty clean eater & coffee is the only place I allow myself some bad, fake junk! I've improved from a year ago though!
I've traded my flavored coffeemate for Dunkin Donuts flavored coffee. Splenda (0 calories) & coffeemate original liquid creamer in fat free (10 calories per Tbsp/0 fat/1 carb/0 sodium/0 cholesterol).
Yummmmm Cooooffffffffeeeeeeeeeeee0 -
Mine is 60 calories. I use 3 teaspoons regular coffeemate & 2 teaspoons sugar. I am going to buy some flavored creamer and see if that helps me to ease of off the sugar. I went from 3-4 cups a day to just 1 in morning & 1 after dinner.0

I used to drink it with milk and sugar, but as I am a desperate grad student who lives for free coffee (and they give us no sugar or other additives to put in it), I have learned to drink it black. If you buy a good quality coffee (and I'm not talking Folgers here) then you really don't need anything. Sometimes I'll add a Splenda if I want something sweet. One of my friends buys vanilla infused coffee and adds a Splenda; she swears it tastes just like a vanilla latte. I say all this as I am drinking coffee now...mmmmm0

I love my coffee, and like the PP it's one thing I Really don't want to give up. I've cut down to 1-2 cups a day. I put in 1 tbsp. of sugar and 2 tbsp half and half, which works out to about 90 cals, I think. Two cups is my absolute max though.0

I love my coffee and usually just drink it black but I do enjoy slipping some sugar - free hot cocoa in it. This usually takes care my chocolate wants. I use the Kroger brand Hot Cocoa - No sugar.0

I'm so HAPPY I'm not alone here!!!
Coffee is my weakness. I cut my 12oz cup to 8oz & I use 4 table spoons of Favored Coffeemate. Like some one else said I will eat clean all day long but will not slack on my coffee. One thing I did change though is I don't drink it everyday!!! Since I started 2 weeks ago I may have had 6 cups in the 2weeks. That's going from 2 cups of 14oz a day!0 -
Did any of you have DT's from cutting back on your coffee? I did horrifically but then I have actually dropped from drinking almost 8 pots of coffee to 1 pot a day in about a week's time. My body rebels. I was curious... I much better now (in MY opinion). Coming to this site and logging in everything I eat and drink has really helped me realize just how much I was downing everyday.0

I still drink coffee, although mostly black these days. Sometimes with a little fat-free milk. No sweetner or such: I suppose I'm lucky that my mother never put sugar in my tea or cereal as a youngster.
My husband drinks decaf--perhaps I'll integrate that in slowly. But not yet...0 -
I use the splenda flavor packs (mocha)....and it has no calories. I can use that alone in my coffee and it tastes great.
I still occasionally put 3 teaspoons of creamer in there though.0 -
I love my coffee too!! Right now I'm using 2-3 Tbls of fat-free french vanilla Coffeemate and 1 Splenda packet in an 8 oz cup of coffee. Not bad calorie wise. Also good is fat free half-n-half and those Splenda flavor packets. Can't live without my coffee in the morning!0

I gave up coffee and tea for about 2 years (back on it now though-:blushing: ), and for the first 3 weeks i had terrible headaches and had a kind of 'out of body feeling' if you know what i mean..kind of like being light headed all the time. But after those 3 weeks, i was back to normal.
Strangely enough, i also got those same side effects when i started drinking it again!0
