low carb diet?

I've been trying to eat 1,200 calories a day lately and my diet consisted of weetbix and banana for breakfast, a sandwich with ham and salad for lunch, fruit and yogurt for snack and pasta or meat and veges for dinner. but i wanted to try cutting out carbs like bread and pasta, so yesterday i ate poached eggs and a fresh juice for breaky, tuna and salad for lunch, fruit for snack and greek yogurt and fruit for dinner, except when i added up my calories it added up to 1,400+ calories? what eating way do you think is better for losing weight?

  • Different people respond differently to eating styles (some are more carb sensitive). I'd try both ways out for a couple weeks and see which works better for you.
