I lost 10-11 lbs. my first two weeks, but then the weight loss has come to a standstill. I haven't changed the way that I'm eating at all. Is this common?

Absolutely. During my weight loss journey i had many plateaus. Keep with the program log faithfully, exercise and you will be successful. Do not get discouraged :-)

Yeap. It happened to me as well when I first started. I lost 15 pounds in the first two and a half weeks, then nothing for almost two weeks. Then suddenly, I was down another seven pounds within a week. It's never linear, and if graphed out, it would look a lot like a polygraph or Richter report.

The first week or two you generally do see the fastest weight loss mostly due to water and glygoen storage loss. Your body uses your glycogen storage for energy when you restrict calories. Once those things even out, your weight loss does slow. I lost 5 lbs my first two weeks and since then it has been .5lbs to 1 lb per week.

Clicker, are you eating enough? Your calories are very low - under 1000 often. Maybe you should calculate your TDEE and select your calories with that method? I calculated my TDEE based on my goal weight of 120 and it set my calories for my activity level at 1748. I had been on a plateau for nearly 4 months and 30 days of eating this way got me off the plateau and I lost 2 pounds. I used to eat 1200 calories a day because I thought that was the right way to do it - and it worked for a while. But then it didn't work at all so I changed. I am just beginning my second 30 days eating this way and I hope to see more results on November 5th.

If you do the TDEE method, don't eat back exercise calories.
