Help from Mommies

Ok, this is basically a question for Moms. I have some really large stretchmarks on my stomach from my pregnancies with my daughter and son. I used Palmer's lotion when I was pregnant with my son and it broke my skin out in hives. I hardly got any stretchmarks with my son. I used Vitamin E (doctor recommended) with my daughter and my stomach and ended up with a ton of stretch marks. I am down 26 pounds since June. I have 5 more lbs until I reach my weightloss goal and then I am thinking of resetting my goal to another 10 lbs.

My question is since I have lost quite a bit of weight I am really noticing the stretch marks on my stomach look worse. It is also looser then I want it to be. What can I use to reduce the noticeability of my stretch marks? What also can I do to tighten up the skin on my stomach (no tummy tuck). Want to be as natural as possible. My daughter is 3 yrs old now so they have lightened up color wise but they look terrible. Thanks!

I don't have great advice for you but if I was going to try a product, I'd try bio-oil. I have marks from my 4 year old and they have gotten lighter but you're right about the skin :(. Try toning body wash and lotion daily. I'm in your boat so you're not alone!

I've heard really good things about bio oil too. I don't think there really is any miracle cure. I've heard lifting heavier weights can help with toning and tightening the skin but not sure there is anything to take away the actual stretch marks. Good luck!
