Calories burnt according to HRM

Hi all, apologies in advance if this has been answered before. I've been using my Polar F4 HRM when exercising, been entering the calories burnt into the site, and eating back those calories, but today I had a thought. Even when I'm sitting doing nothing, my body is still burning calories, and the HRM still records these. It seems to be a rate of roughly 2 calories per minute. When I'm entering my expended calories into the site, should I be discounting the calories that would have been burnt had I been doing nothing, or just put in all the calories the HRM says I burnt? I'm just a little concerned about eating back too many.
