Paleo/Whole 30 and My Fitness Pal

For those of you who do Paleo/Whole 30 and use my fitness pal, what is the best way to use it? I noticed it has given me calorie and carb recommendations that don't really go along with Whole 30/Paleo. What would be better guidelines, and is there a way to change the recommendations?

    You can change the percentages of your macros by going to Home>Goals>Change goals>Custom.

    I don't do Paleo, but I try to eat clean: sort of Weston Price with a side of chips. lol I have my macros set to 15% Protein (because I'm maintaining now so eat more calories and need a smaller percentage of it to be protein.) 40% fat, 45% carb

    Anywho, I think a higher fat can eat up a lot of calories, but so can grains and starches, so maybe it's more of a trade off.
