VEGANS - What do you feed your pets?

I'm still trying to understand the vegan lifestyle. You have your reasons for not eating meat, I know. But would you deprive a dog of meat as well? Do you spend extra on dog/cat food? My friend's snake was fed dead mice, and his reptile got live crickets, for ex.

This question is more targeted towards those who are vegan for the ethical reasons (various issues with the food industry, etc).
