Interesting Results w/30DS

I had a weird experience with 30DS, and I'm curious about others' opinions and experiences.
Regarding weigh-ins: I weigh myself every morning when I get up since I find it more accurate than weighing in weekly or less often. I look at trends rather than individual numbers.
During the 30 days my calorie intake was 1400/day M-F and 1600/day S & S. I work a desk job for nine hours a day, and take 30-minute walks several evenings a week.
In August I completed the 30DS. I started on 8/2, finished on 8/31. So 30 days straight through, no days off. On day 1 I weighed in at 118. Over the 30 days my weight gradually increased, ultimately ending at 123 on day 30. I had no problem with that, since I'm aware that muscle is more dense than fat and it was likely attributable to muscle gain.
I took measurements on day 1 and day 30, and again several days after day 30. I measured my biceps, bust, waist, hips, and thighs. I saw no change in any of my numbers. None.
After reading through others' posts where they shared how much their numbers changed doing the 30DS, I thought this was weird. So I'm interested in your thoughts and experiences.
Thanks!

I lost 7 inches in level 1, I now have 3 days left of level 2 and so far have not lost anything this level. Gonna continue on with level 3 if by the end I think it's worth it I'm going to do RI30 and if I'm not happy with the overal results I'm going to give insanity a try.0

7 Inches?! Good for you!0 -
I gained 5lbs by the time I completed 30DS. I felt better and my endurance was sure higher by day 30, but I didn't see any noticeable results in my body.
I get jealous when I see crazy results that people got, I guess everyone is different!0 -

Interesting that I'm not the only one that gained five pounds!
Truly, we are all a little different.0 -
I think it's possible that you didn't lose any inches because you never gave your muscles any recovery time. It is during rest days that your muscles grow stronger. Without them, you are simply continuing to damage the same muscles every day with no new growth and less opportunity to burn fat.
I am doing day 6 of level one tonight and have already lost an inch from my waist and a half inch from my hips. I am doing the shred three days a week with light cardio in between.0 -

Interesting idea. I definitely did develop muscles, though. My biceps, shoulders and triceps are MUCH more defined. So are my abdominal muscles. So I got some results, just not results that show up on the scale or tape.0
