How long will it take?

I have lost the first 2 stone in 6 months, working out at just over 1lb a week - so far, so sensible!

I want to lose another 2 stone. What are the chances of me being able to do this in 6 months again? Or will it get a lot harder the closer I get to my goal weight?

I would love to hit goal before next summer, but I'm not sure how realistic that is.

I can only speak for myself, I found the first 2 stone relatively easy and the third came off a bit slower.... And then I halted. Started on eat more to weigh less at the weekend so I'll let you know how I get on with that! I have about another stone and a half to lose :)

Oh, and I think you can do it, it's not an unrealistic goal at all - but you MAY find it harder the nearer you get. it'll be okay though because you have us all supporting you!! :flowerforyou:

    Thank you

I think I was having one of those neither one thing nor another days - I am proud of how far I have come but my goal still seems so far away. Patience was never one of my strong points!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far!

I have to agree with the above poster, and also from my own personal experience, that the nearer you get to your goal the slower it does seem to get. But not that slowly, and you will reach your goal eventually!
Also at the stage you start getting really close to your goal you have to start upping your calories so you have a gradual slide into maintenance.

You get extra food though - always a bonus in my book!
