Okay so, i have what is called Celiac disease, im allergic to dairy, whey, practically anything. I can consume soy without it hurting, so i have been drinking soy protein. But is there anything else i can take like a weight gainer? I cannot gain weight to save my life because i am limited to foods. So if anyone has any suggestions, itd be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matthew.

Can you list more specifically what your allergies are? Saying you're allergic to "practically anything" will make it tough for people to suggest foods you can use to create an energy surplus.0 -
Eat meat and fats. Add an avocado to a meal, cool with coconut or olive oil and add a little extra.
The simplest answer is just eat more foods. Since you can't eat wheat it's going to have to be meat, fat, or beans.0 -
Egg white protein powder would be a great substitute for whey protein powders, and too much soy is not healthy.0

Avocados, beans, peanut butter, fish (especially fatty ones like salmon).0

How about nuts, can you eat those?0

Can you eat meat? Steak, hamburger, ground turkey, turkey breast, chicken, chicken wings, pork, lamb, veal. Steak and Pork will give you high calories/fat.
How about nuts? Almonds, cashews, peanuts, pistachios etc if you're sensitive to ingredients by the raw kinds. Places like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods have straight up unsalted and even un-roasted nuts.
Nut butters are good too sunflower, almond, peanut butter.
Can you eat oatmeal? Oatmeal with some almond milk, chia seeds, bananas, peanut butter, coconut, almond butter, natural protein powder there are tons of things you can add to oatmeal and it's easy to make it high calorie. Can you do like a brown rice protein?
How about cheese? Add some cheese and meat to eggs and make an omette with some bacon you can easily have over 700 calories worth of food. Or sausage if you like that better.
Cook things in olive oil or coconut oil to add calories and fats0 -
Hi! I totally understand - I'm also gluten-intolerant (haven't been tested for Celiac) and intolerant to a bunch of other foods, including all grains, dairy, and anything containing yeast. However, I am still steadily gaining weight. I just eat a TON of the foods that I can eat.
The best foods that help me gain healthy weight are:
Potatoes/sweet potatoes
Nuts and seeds
Meat/eggs
Coconut milk/oil/cream
Lentils/beans
Olive oil
Treats made with real sugar (not "healthy", but definitely helpful!)
Feel free to friend me if you'd like some weight-gain support. That's why I'm on here too0 -

I would eat a lot of white rice (as you probably know, there is no gluten in rice) and lots of fatty foods--like hamburger. If you are able to eat goat dairy (lots of people are allergic to one specific protein in cow's milk that happily, is not in goat's milk. Goat's milk cheesy rice with avocado and scallions was a favorite of a friend with a problem similar to yours. Fats and simple carbs like white rice will make you gain weight---lots of protein will ensure that it is not just fat you are gaining. Starchy vegetables like potatoes and carrots are a good idea too as they pack a nutrient punch. If you tolerate nuts, you could eat a lot of nuts too (my friend was not able to eat many nuts). You should do weight training too. Good luck.0 -
TL;DR:
eggs
egg protein
ribeye/fatty beef
frosted flakes/rice chex+almond milk
ghee/clarified butter (can use this instead of regular butter, should have virtually 0 milk protein/solids, so unless you are insanely allergic you should be able to eat as much as you want)
gluten-free pasta
chocolate?
If you can supply a list of allergies, I would be happy to help... I have a ton of sensitivities/allergies, so understand what it's like trying to work around them (fortunately I have 0 issue with gluten, but can't have whey, soy, most vegetables, berries, legumes, and artificial colors, preservatives, mold inhibitors, etc.)0
