Fresh food has ruined grocery deli food :-(

So I think Chinese deli food from grocery stores is pretty commonly disliked since it usually sits around all day and doesn't get replaced. I've always thought it was kind of ****ty, but I could eat it nonetheless. Today is the first time I wasn't able to eat food flat out to get the macros. I've been known to throw together a bunch of healthy items that honestly do not mix at all. Tastes like **** but it's usually all fresh and I just want all the nutrition. I could not keep this **** in my mouth for more than 5 seconds. Can eating fresh food really have that much of an effect on what you like and dislike? Being picky with food is just not something I do. I just wanted to enjoy some good old-fashioned deli food that's been sitting around all day. Such a waste... damn fresh food.

I feel your pain there. My girlfriend and I discovered an awesome fresh seafood store in our city (they get shipments in every morning), and since then, I cannot stand to have seafood from almost any other source. I can manage to tolerate canned tuna and salmon if I absolutely have to, but seafood from the supermarket that's intended for cooking purposes is just out of the question now.
