Little bfast and dinner, BIG lunch...hmmm...

Today we had a potluck at work, so I had a small bfast in anticipation of the event (nonfat yogurt and 1 cup of mixed berries for bfast, plus coffee). Then I had a 650 calorie lunch. I was not very hungry all afternoon, and just had a small salad and a piece of cheese for dinner, 7 and a half hrs after lunch! I came in under 1200 calories. I'm wondering if instead of my usual 3 medium size meals and a snack, I should try this strategy again. Does anyone else eat like this, meaning small bfast and dinner, big lunch?
