Gourmet Avocado White American Grilled Cheese

Two slices of Kirkland Organic Whole Wheat Bread
Two slices of White American Cheese
One half a whole Avocado (mashed)
One Half TBS of Grape Seed Oil (rubbed on outer part of bread)

Mash Avocado right onto one half of bread, put cheese onto other, place on top of each other. Rub each side with oil of choice. Grill till nice and browned (yum melanoidins.) If cheese is not melted, microwave just enough to make gooey. Enjoy.

    This was delicious. It was so good I made it twice today. Second time I put hot sauce in the grilled cheese and it tasted even better. Thanks again for the idea.

    I do this all the time. Only I usually add chicken too (avocado, chicken (sometimes tomato or semidried tomato) then cheese. No top piece of bread, but melt the cheese under the grill - or broiler I think you Americans call it. :happy:

    One less slice of bread and cheese and more protein = win!
