Do models (photo shooting models mainly) do any workout at the gym? Or that is only about genes and natural beauty?
Any ideas?

I'm a promotional model (not photoshoot. More like in person at events and such, so might not be as relevant) and I get my most jobs when I work out 6 days a week, and am extremely pedantic about my diet, lol. I do a mix of cycle classes, pole dancing, body pump (weights class), treadmill, individual weight training and core conditioning.
Most of the other girls are also into their fitness. However many of the extremely slender girls claim that they are naturally that way, and eat whatever they want (*****es!!) lol0 -

But when I notice som photoshoot models their body don't look as if they were under presser of weights. They don't have abs or firm bicep etc ,although they look amazing.
Actually to me they looks even better than those who do weight training.0 -

Depends on the type of modeling they do. I train, but then again I stay in that area of modeling (general fitness and bikini ... that type). My step daughter is 6' and weighs a bit of nothing (naturally thin at this time). She does fashion modeling and does not work out at all.0

well I mainly reffer to beauty pigeons.
Sometimes You see beautiful chicks with no excercise, I mean doing intense excersise is not a necessity to look fantastic. Is it true?0 -

What is the answer you're expecting here?
Many pictures that you see in magazines, billboards etc will have been photoshopped or airbrushed, so they're not a true representation of what that model actually looks like in the flesh.0 -
That is true but not in Tv they cannoy photoshop a TV show.
anyhow I wanted to know doing weight training might not be the way to look be best of what you can.
Not for everyone.0 -

Not for everyone.
You can use a tonne of make up, clever lighting and angles though.
However back to the original question, it depends what look you want.
Clearly a runway models look is not going to be the same as a glamour models look, which equally is not going to be the same as a fitness models look.
Just like most other things, weight training is a tool, if its the right tool for the job, and will give the results you want, use it. If it's not don't.0
