    That would be an interesting dilemma for anyone hiring someone who would sit next to them! I would still hire the person - it would be unfair not to - but maybe have a quick word in their ear at the right moment.

    Depends on the job. If they were going to be in sales or customer service, I might not. However, if I thought they were the best candidate for the position, I might discuss my misgivings and see if there was a simple solution.

    Typically when I do an interview, it's in a big office, with lots of desk space between us. that's not an issue.
