I have logged in my meals and snacks for today except for dinner and i have this is what i have left:

be filling and i'm not eating carbs (breads, rice, potatoes, etc.) for dinner. Any suggestions? thanks

Can I ask why you are not eating carbs? I have seen a few threads where people seem to avoid them and I am wondering if I should be doing the same? Is it a long term thing?0

I see you are over your protein for the day already, is this normal for you? If so you may want to go into goals, change goals, custom and adjust the % carbs, fat and protein.0

Fiber and protein, these make you feel full longer. Lots of veggies... especially those that are more difficult to digest and full of fiber like broccoli, cauliflour and celery.... It looks like you are out of protein for the day too, unless you don't mind that... You do still have some carbs left and I wouldn't rule those out... Carbs are good for you... if they are the right kind... Eat whole grains rather than the refined carbs... try finding those complex carbs that take longer to digest, those are the good carbs... if it says "white enriched flour" as the ingredient, that's a simple carb and should be eaten sparingly. I hope this helps...0

I was just about to make a post about whether or not I should be eatting carbs! It seems the goals set by this calorie counter & even my bodybugg include a large number of carbs. I know that they mean eatting healthy carbs, which I still can't seem to eat all of my carb calories when I don't eat actual carbs like bread, rice, etc but I lose more weight when I eat a high protein diet. I haven't been sure about whether or not I should stop eatting those carbs and change my goal percentages around a little?
If you are not eatting carbs I'm not sure what else you could substitute in this dinner, but I made it last night and it was really good. I used about 1/2 cup wheat pasta n tossed in a cup of zucchini and cup of broccoli, a tsp of low fat butter, and a tsp of grated parmasen cheese with some garlic powder & pepper. I also had some shrimp with it, but I see you are out of protein for the day. It was really good, it looked like a huge amount of food I couldn't even finish it and it kept me full. I made if for myself and my mom she loved it too.
Also my cousin told me there is some type of Chinese pasta noodles that have 0 carbs and were used on Rachel Ray. Maybe you could look into those type of foods to add to a meal w/out the carbs, yet still filling.0 -

I think it is good to reduce your carbs, but if I went low carb I would have no energy to work out!
My ace in the hole is whole wheat couscous...a little goes a long way and it fills you up!0 -
As far as the whole "no carb" thing. I personally could never do it. I eat whole grain pasta, bread, brown rice, baked potatoes, etc. Carbs don't have to be evil! The way I look at it is, if you can't stop eating carbs for the rest of your life, why stop now? So many people who are on low carb diets end up gaining it back when they add back the carbs..just like any other "diet". Once you bring back what was restricted you WILL gain the weight.0
