I am new to myfitnesspal. My friend told me about this site, and so far I love it. I am a single mom, teacher and waitress on the weekends. I am into various volunteer work as well as have lots of meetings going on.
I have always been overweight and struggle with my self-esteem.
I 've had the gastric bypass surgery and it failed. Have had lots of complications since.
So, its time to change my life and get fit.

    Welcome! I also am a waitress, full time, and know how hard it can be to work around food. This is a great place...stick with it, and have fun!

    Hi, Tammy! I'm new to the site, too, but so far, I love it. And the price is definitely right! :) I'm an assistant principal, so I know how busy you are as a teacher. Sorry to hear about your surgery not being successful, but it sounds like you are determined to improve your life, so I wish you the best of luck.
