My favorite banana flax smoothie

Just wanted to share my favorite smoothie recipe that I came up with to incorporate ground flax in my diet. Enjoy!

1 medium banana, frozen and cut into pieces
8 ounces of 1% milk
1 packet of Equal or other choice sweetener
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ice cube
1 or 2 tablespoon of ground flax seed

Put everything in blender or smoother maker, mix and enjoy.

42 carbs
6 grams of fat
11 protein
5 fiber
139 sodium
