O.k. so I ate the calories for my daily goal and then did exercise and it says I am supposed to eat more. IS that O. K. to do and still lose weight? I really want to do this right. I just started 2 days ago and have been really good adding in all my foods and doing exercises. Don't I burn up the calories and lose weight faster if I eat less than the 1200 calories per day that I was told to eat?? HELP ANYONE OUT there. I need to understand this whole calorie and carb and fats and protein combination.
Thanks Phyljen

That is what you should do. MFP sets you up according to your goals. as an example if you choose 1 pound per week you eat 1400 net cals. When you exercise you are meant to eat those cals as your calorie defict is already taken into account and will will be under by more than what your goals are if you don't eat the exercise cals. There are some great posts under the newbie... section in the forums take a look.0
