Never dieted, need some support

Hello. My name is Abby. I went to the doctor recently and found out I weigh 200 lbs. I am only 5 foot 6 so that means my BMI is 32.3 (the obese category). I have never dieted and need some advice.

    first off, dont call it "dieting"...its a life style change. my main tip is to eat natural foods..

    Buy Tosca Reno's book called Eat Clean Recharged.
  • Journal, Journal, Journal. As repetitive as it seems - DO IT ! Do it before you put the food in your mouth, then decide if you really want to waste those calories on whatever it is that sounds good at that exact moment in time. If not sure, wait 5 minutes and chances are you will have forgotten about it or decided to eat something much healthier. Seems to smack you in the face if you see it written or logged on MFP. This ap is great - better than Weight Watchers in my opinion. Take the time to fully explore it. I find new things daily.
