Sleep, work and exercise - how many hrs are YOU putting in?

Today, after 7 and a half hours of sleep I once again woke up feeling really tired. And as always I was heavily dreaming when my alarm went. My bf says it might have to do something with the number of hours I exercise. So here it goes, on average how many hours do you guys sleep, exercise and work per day? Is your work sedentary or manual?

Sleep: 7 - 7,5 hrs/day
Exercise: 1 - 2 hrs/day
Work: 8 hrs/day (not weekends)
Work type: sedentary

If you have an iPhone or Android device, there is a pretty cool sleep timer app that you can get. It uses the motion sensor in the phone to try and judge what phase of sleep you are in. Apparently when you are in a deeper sleep, your body moves far less. Clearly this is not going to be 100% perfect, but it's pretty decent as an estimation.

From this you can get a graph, showing your sleep cycles for the night, but also it has an alarm, you set the latest time you want to wake up, and the alarm will go off up to 30 mins earlier, depending on when it thinks you are in a phase of lighter sleep. From the situation you describe, I think it's at least worth giving this a try.

I'm sure there are a few variants of this app out there, but if you want the specific details of the app I used, let me know.

I've had a couple of questions about the app.

It's by a company called Azumio, they also make a few other cool health apps, like a heart rate measurement. On the iPhone the app is called Sleep Time+, I think it's a similar but slightly different name on Android.

Average (based on last week's FitBit numbers)

    7.05 hours sleeping
    0.39 being very active
    1.44 hours being fairly active
    3.26 hours being lightly active
9.20 hours being sedentary - which corresponds roughly to my work hours
2.66 hours (?) - FitBit's numbers came up short! Maybe my car commutes?

I fall asleep very quickly and my sleep effciency numbers are consistently in the 93-100% range. skewing towards 98% on average. I usually dream or sleep poorly if I've eaten within two hours before going to bed or having even a teeny bit of alcohol. I woke up waaaay too early today only because the temperature dropped to freezing levels and the heat didn't kick on!

Thank you all so much for your replies... I will definitely try the app and see what it comes up with.

The thing I forgot to ask is whether the sleep that you get is enough for you (for me it is clearly not).
