COMPLETELY off subject, but did anyone ever notice that there were no female street fighters in the first Street Fighter game?

I hadn't actually, as my first taste of Street Fighter was SF II in the arcades!

I haven't played a decent fighting game in ages, anyone else?

I think my favourite beat em up was Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast, of which I still have upstairs.

Is it sad that I liked Soul Calibur only because I could use Seong Mina and her incredibly cheap/broken halberd?

I rocked at that game back in 1999, but was mainly a fan of Nightmare myself. Anyone else miss the olden days of gaming?

More importantly, where is everyone, and why am I still wearing clothes?

I've heard dark things about an Eviscerator?

I miss the days of platform games that you played to unwind. That didn't take themselves too seriously. Or make me want to throw the controller at the screen for being repeatedly virtually tea bagged by an 11 year old American boy whose voice hasn't dropped.
