Timing is best when you find the sweet spot. As your coach, this should be our main goal. Sound good?

My sweet spot is very easy to find. The middle is what I'm aiming for right?

We should start there. Sometimes your swing has subtle adjustments that we will need to account for during the match. Are you comfortable adjusting on the fly?

I think I can adjust pretty quickly. Isn't according to how good my grip is though?

For sure and it is one the keys to being in control of the match
Should we explore the different types of grips that you could be using for different shots?

Isn't the game better when you take a little time before you just start swinging away?

I've had some pretty lucky backhand shots, but aren't most people more comfortable with their forehand?

Oh that feels so much better than the way I use to do it. Any advice on a power shot?

Can I recommend slightly loosening grip before and during the shot and then a nice firm grip on the follow through?

I didn't realize I could loosen my grip. But it makes perfect sense, you don't need the energy going in, you need a burst of it on the follow thru, right?

There are some good drills we can do to focus on that. Do you need a water break or shall we start swinging away again?
