After making the decision that it was too cold and windy for me to run in the dark today, on my way to the gym to run on the treadmill I not only saw 1 but 2 seperate runners out there braving the weather. Maybe I should toughen up and get out there too, huh? :ohwell:

If I promise to get up at 4:30 AM tomorrow morning and do bed to 5K in the light snow and ice that will be falling will you please indulge me with an equal amount of awesomeness tomorrow night?

No reason to feel like a whimp...you were just taking a break. How do I know that? because you regret not doing it..

    Do you own under armour?

I do need to get warmer gear, I only have good gear for 30 degrees and above. I need to get a running fleece and a good running hat too. Maybe some sort of scarf for my face? I can't promise to get out there tomorrow since tomorrow is not a running day for me, but can I say I will try to brave the weather on Thursday for an outdoor run?

Top of the evening to you both. Can I say that the one thing that caught up with the most on the Turkey Trot was the cold air while running the hill?

Do you know what the temp was for the race? When I ran the freaky 5K it was only 27 degrees.

were you cold for that or was the wind dead?

When I did my walk through, it was 28, race time warmed up to around 36. I too like running in the cool air, just wasn't acclimated with all my treadmill pampering. Did I just say I like running?

Can I agree 45 degrees is a wonderful thing, under 30 is not my favorite but like Michael said, just need to get acclimated and have the right gear, ya know?

There was a slight breeze for my race in the 27 degrees but the sun was out and that helps, can I tell you I really hate running in the dark the most? Make it f*cking cold, I'll give it a whirl, but give me SUNLIGHT, I LOVE THE SUN AND MY SHADOW PARTNER, ya hear?
