    i agree today is a new day and time to start fresh. I feel great actually, yesterday i stayed right at my calories and managed to get in a ton of exercise... now to carry that on today.

    Now if only i wasnt sitting at my desk at work ha ha!

    Are you getting excited for christmas?

    Did you know I will probably be more excited when I get to pick up my little boy on Thurs? I will get to keep him till Sunday, so I will be celebrating Christmas early with him. I had him for Thanksgiving, so daddy gets to have him on Christmas day.


    Jer, that could be looked at in one of two ways. Yes, it does only come once a year or I am so thankful to be alive, and with my family for another celebration of our Saviour's birth. Yes, I am aware that Dec 25th is not the actual day he was born, but it is the day marked to celebrate it. As a Christian woman, this holiday is my favorite, because without it...none of the other holidays would matter. Does that make sense?

    Does your mother or sister like massages, getting their nails done, tanning bed etc? Buying for my mom is easy, I give her a gift certificate for tanning bed visits, or nail salon because I know where she goes.

    Dad's are a little harder. What does he like...hobbies and such?

    Dad Likes gadgets...I always get him some kind of gadget

    For people who are super tough, I usually find out where they love to shop and get them a gift card. For gadgets, I walk around Brookstone to get ideas (and then order the stuff from Amazon.com); do you have a Brookstone near you?

    Would any of these ideas work?

    Certificate to have the car detailed inside and out? Certificate to a favorite restaurant paired with movie passes for a fun night out? iTunes gift card for some new music (if they use iTunes)?
