    Should anyone have to memorize the periodic table of elements? Is that considered teaching Chemistry or should there be a "Memory Class"?

    Maybe back in school, no just reflecting on my days of using ink to jog my memory for the table of elements? Reminds me of the classic Ghostbuster line..."What is the atomic weight of Cobalt?"
