Anyone struggling with Sleap Apnea?

Hey everyone!
It is so nice to have a place to go where I can give and receive support for all of the issues that can go along with needing to lose weight and eat healthy. I was just diagnosed with sleep apnea and just started wearing my C-PAP machine for about 19 days now. I am still in the 30-day trial period with my insurance, and have used it for over the required 4-hours or more everyday, except two.
Also, I have always struggled with some depression issues and used sleeping to cope with these, so I have always had sleep issues. I also work Tuesday through Saturday from 3PM-11PM, so I tend to go to bed around 1AM-2AM every night. By the time I get home it's 11:30PM, and then I need time to get ready for bed and wind down.
I have been struggling with getting up early enough to work-out before work at 3PM, I sometimes won't get up until 12:30 or 1:00 PM. I don't know if I am still not used to the machine and not using it for enough hours, or if something else is wrong. I have been told so many times to just get up when my alarm goes off for say, like 10:30 A.M., but I feel so tired in the early morning hours that it is so difficult for me. I know nothing is impossible, and I know I can start getting into a healthy pattern, it's just something that I have been struggling with for a long time.
I also tried to go to the gym after work, but then I wouldn't get home until 12:30 AM, and that doesn't help my sleep schedule, but at least then I was working out. So far this week, starting Tuesday, I did not get up early enough before work and felt so tired after work to go. Anyone have any suggestions? Please feel free to give me honest feedback. Thanks so much!

I used to have sleep apnea. My wife said I sounded like I was dying every night. Since i have lost weight it just went away. No more nights on the couch :-) Regular exercise has been a cure all for me. If I have a bad day' an hour on my bike works wonders. I used to work 3pm to 11pm and would stay up late also. Getting into a routine is the key. Working out before going to work might be best for your work hours. You will have to push yourself to do it. But once you get that mindset of losing weight and eating healthy and exercising it will hopefully turn into a lifestyle, not just a diet. Stay consistent log every day exercise and you will lose weight and feel better0

Thanks so much for your encouragement, I really needed that. I am sitting here at work going back and forth on whether I should go to the gym or try to wake up early and go. You are completely right, and I agree, that working out before work is probably the best solution. I will have more energy throughout the day and get on a healthy sleep pattern. Congratulations on developing your healthy lifestyle, and thanks so much for the support!0

Your welcome. I lost a lot of my weight with walking as my main form of exercise. You don't have to kill yourself to get benefit from exercise. I started walking about 30 to 45 minutes 4 days a week. And just kept going a little farther every week. I worked up to about 20 miles a week. Then I took up cycling in March 2450 miles so far shooting for 3000 but winter isnt going to cooperate. So i recently purchased a recumbent exercise bike for the winter0
