Oh it's the weekend... my weakness....

So I've got a dual birthday party tonight to attend with adult beverages and general shenanigans (because I really DO have more friends than Cranktastic - *nose laugh* LOL) and then a wedding reception tomorrow night with more adult beverages and even more shenanigans....
Hate to say it, but I think The People might look at me funny if I arrive at either occasion with a bag of rice cakes shoved in my purse... I mean for crying out loud my purse has a lot of stuff in it, just not rice cakes......
Oh what to do! Where's that obligatory wagon? I'm so going to try NOT to fall off of it....

While this is a long term journey, you'll need to have some focus to go along with it. 1-3 drinks won't kill a week, but using excuses to overeat/drink will.0

One weekend of shenanigans never hurt anyone. Enjoy yourself and get back on track on Monday0

Last I checked, dancing burns calories!
I would probably make fun of you if you had rice cakes in your purse too. Can you find some veggies at any of these events? Maybe bring a veggie tray or a fruit tray.
Also, I'm not afraid to carry a beverage that looks like something fancy, but it's really not. I don't drink alcohol at all, but I feel weird if I am at a party and not carrying a drink, so I will get a water or diet coke and sip on it while every one else goes nuts. If you do drink, look up some beverages before hand that have fewer calories than the usual options.
You can do this and still have fun!0 -
1. Eat lots of protein before going to any of these events. Lots.
2. Adult drinks should be LOW calorie (Flavored vodka + soda water for example)
3. DO NOT drink withing several HOURS of going to bed.
4. Have fun.0 -
I would suggest drinking less, and picking foods that are healthy without stressing too much about. Food isn't the only way to have fun, but you can and should enjoy your meal. Just don't go overboard. My other suggestion would be to pick one night to go over calories, and make healthier choices another night.0

Ha! Interesting you posted this because:
1. I'm defrosting chicken and tofu in my fridge as I type this.... so I'm prepping.... protein is my friend!
2. I already do the flavored vodka and ginger ale as my staple.... I'll probably not drink at all as I'm sure I'll need to be the DD for someone..... (always happens)
3. I've learned that drinking right before bed is my total enemy. WOW is it ever. So yeah, stopped doing that a while back ago...
4. Fun is my middle name. Can't you tell by my picture? LOL0
