30 day shred - is it good or bad?

So, I am thinking of staring Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Has anyone else tried it and what did you think? Is this worth it, would you recommend it? Any help is appreciated :) Thanks!

I have been doing 30 day shred for a little over a month now, taking some days to run and do other things. I think it is great! I have definitely toned up and lost weight. I am going to strat her ripped in 30 workout next week! Just make sure to keep your knees behind your toes and use good form while doing the excercises.

It is a great workout, that quickly becomes boring. Doing the SAME THING for 10 days in a row got old really quickly, but I have a really short attention span.

I've been doing it almost 10 days (level 1) and I really like it! I've lost a 2 lbs, and a 3 inches total. Cant wait to finish the other 20 days and see the total results. Scared to start Level 2 tho! My body will hurtttt.

From what I've seen on this thread and others I think I will start it. Thanks for the info. I just worry cause I'm obviously not in great shape and not near my goal weight yet, but this should put me closer :flowerforyou:

It's totally worth it. I didn't lose any weight, but I definitely lost inches. I wish I had taken measurements before I started, but I could tell from the way my sports bra fit better (no more armpit bulge!). My boyfriend and a co-worker who I hadn't seen in awhile both said that I looked slimmer, too, so I'm happy! I'm doing Ripped in 30 now, and then I might go back and do 30 Day Shred again, just to keep moving. Can't make any excuses when the workout is only about 20-30 minutes long, with the warm-ups.

I am almost through level one and down 2 inches in my waist, two in my hips, and a half inch in my arms and thighs. I still have 22 workouts to go!
