i am by no means new to MFP or calorie counting. it has worked for me in the past but i have difficulty in staying with it. also, i have not been active in forums or in having friends on here. hopefully that can change and i can have some community. maybe it will keep me more accountable to know if someone notices me not logging in.
ME: i'm 27 & 5'3". GW anywhere from 130-120. i first want to lose the fat and then get into my working out groove once more (have taken a 2-3 yr sabatical from all intense training).
resolutions:
i don't just want to be thin, i want to be fit!
i want to run a 1/2 marathon by the time i'm 30. so i am starting w/ getting eating under control and then upping the ante on fitness.
i am trying to be a clean eater (minimum on the processed foods) and to reduce my alcohol intake (i love me some wine!).
i am resolved that all my yo-yo weight issues from my twenties are not going to be welcome in my 30s.
i am also a veteran who needs to motivate herself to work out now that the threat of a PT test is no longer looming over my head.
add me and let's keep eachother motivated!
