This week I started Fit Body Bootcamp (which is awesome) and I'm up 1.5 lbs. I'm sure it's just water retention in the muscles as I'm pushing them harder than I have before (I know I haven't eaten an extra 5250 cals.) but I would think that I wouldn't hold on to the extra fluids for more than a day or two.

Do you have any idea as to long the "shock" of a new program lasts?

It's really impossible to say, there are too many moving parts to consider.

That said, your calorie intake is low and it looks like your food tracking is pretty meticulous, so I couldn't imagine the scale not moving downward if you stay consistent for the next couple of weeks.

I started p90x and put on 4lbs overnight... also all just water weight (also using suppliments to drive extra water into the muscle (i wont get too technical))!, it fades over time, it doesnt last long and you'll notice the scales moving dowards and still be retaining water, so when i was on 'recovery week' i lost like 4lbs in one week and was 8lbs under my starting weight.... dont worry, it fades and when you stop hammering those muscles the water also drops so you get a nice big boost!
