Made this last night, really yummy. My little one luv'd it!!!

1 lb. ground turkey
1 1/2 c. brown rice
1 1/2 c. mixed veggies (an variety should work, canned or frozen) If using frozen nuke/boil them til satifaction of tenderness
1 can of chicken broth ( I used campbells)
salt & pepper
few dashes of garlic powder

1. cook rice in chicken broth
2. While rice is cooking, brown turkey, add salt, pepper & garlic powder to turkey as it is browning.
3. when both rice & turkey is cooked, toss( so as not mash the rice) rice, turkey and mixed veggies(should still be warm) together, and serve as complete meal.

It was really simple and easy, I really didn't feel like cooking yesterday. I wasn't going to waste any money by eating out. And I am so glad that I made it. Let me know how y'all like it.
  • Sounds great! We always substitue ground turkey for beef and eat a lot of veggies and rice, so this is perfect! We eat a lot of tilapia and chicken too! They are both great with rice and veggies!
  • Yum! Sounds awesome and easy which makes it even more awesome! lol
