Old Weight Loss Program for a "Quick Start"--Opinions?

I am one of those people who have tried almost everything on the market for weight loss.Yesterday I was thinking back on that and remember a program I bought called "The 6 week Body Makeover." I remembered they had a website and I even remembered the login and password. I went there and logged in. Many of the forum posts were so old. I had forgotten that I had lost 40 pounds on that program. I actually didn't gain all of it back. I had gained back 18 pounds. I couldn't stick with it. But it has me wondering--what if I could take the good parts of that program and eat healthier as a "quick start" to this journey. I am trying to be patient and I know I need to exercise more. It took me years to put this weight on. I just want some of it to go away faster.

Wanting thoughts on this idea. What do you think? I really need thoughts on this.

I stand by my philosophy that if I can't do it forever then don't bother. I say this because if you do something and it works, great, but what happens when you stop? Will you gain it back? That would be my fear. I would just focus on making small, healthy, sustainable changes. You got this!! Now let's shrink!!!

Focus on a healthy lifestyle change, you lost 40lbs in the past which is good. Now you gain back 18lbs which is good because you haven't gain all the weight back..

This program works and give it a try....
