If I only worked in my relationship now we would not have enough for food or rent, we might but then we couldn’t do anything besides get stuck in a house with each other for 23+ years and slowly start to hate each other. If I have a job making maybe at least 800 a week then I wouldn’t want her to work, we would be fine. But you know as well as I do that everything and anything ever at all costs money. You need shoes to walk, and at least in public you need clothes - well those cost money. And unless you want dirty clothes you have to wash them, washer=300$+. Oh you don’t want to wear wet clothes? Dryer=300$+. Oh you could go old fashioned. But then you need a clothes line, poles, clothes pins, whoa don’t want to wash clothes in just water? Here’s 5$ to go buy some soap, more money. Well where are you going to get the water? You have to pay for running water nowadays. You could drive to a river. Uhm gas, then you need money for a car, tires, oil, light bulbs, money for an inspection sticker. Don’t need a car? You can always walk to the river right? Carrying all your clothes in your arms? Or do you need to BUY a basket? Carry a heavy basket? You need wheels, and you're going to forge those with your bare hands right? Well wait what if you don’t live by a river? Then you could move, but then that’s boxes, more gas, down payment on a living space, not to mention rent now. Wait you want to live somewhere? Better have good credit, or at least a steady job, but it doesn’t stop there. Being clean and shelter isn’t all that’s needed in life. You’re hungry, aren’t you? Just goes on and on.

Ranting, someone please in my next life, tell me that being an adult is this freaking terrible lol.

    It can suck.. especially all the money, mortgage, lawyers.. parts but it's not that terrible
