I've recently started using a HRM that has a chest strap. The past few times that I've worn it while walking on the treadmill at the gym, I noticed that the amount of calories that the HRM and the machine said that I had burned were about the same. However, today I noticed that there was a 147 calorie difference between my HRM and the machine, with the machine saying that I burned more calories than what my HRM measured. So, what do I go by...what my HRM says, or what the treadmill says???? I'm so confused.

HRM is always more accurate as it is taking readings directly from your heart0
