exercise minutes

I currently do 60 minutes 5-6 times a week of zumba or get up and dance, if I increase to 120 minutes will it help me to lose weight faster or help me somehow? I have 100lbs to lose.

    Concentrate on your calorie deficit more than the amount of exercise. Maintaining your diet is much more important than total minutes exercised or how many calories you burn while exercising.

    Think of it like this: Your diet is what you watch to lose the 100 pounds. Your exercise is what you do so you'll look good as the weight drops off.

    ^^^^ this plus doing the same thing over and over will get to become something your body is really good at and you'll start burning less. Mix up your workouts with some strength training and aerobic activity.
