Boy meets girl. Boy and girl date. Boy is manipulative and borderline emotionally abusive to girl. Girl breaks up with boy after he locks her in a bathroom and refuses to let her leave. Girl goes back to boy after boy says a bunch of romantic crap. Girl gets pregnant. Boy refuses to provide any support for baby for first three years of life. Boy has very little to do with baby for first three years of life. Girl has to go through mediation (because she lives in a mediation state) for two years before receiving any support. Meanwhile, girl is living with Mom and doesn't work because she wants to stay home with baby. Girl finally gets child support and gets a job (baby is four by this time). Girl has good job, finally gets child support payments, finally moves out on her own. Girl gets back together with boy (baby is now five). Girl receives emails forwarded by an ex-gf that prove boy has been cheating. Girl breaks up with boy. Three weeks later, girl is back with boy. WTH?!

I say let them stay together because "stupid" people should stick together, just DON'T have anymore kids.

Girl has problem with sense of worth and needs to replace that boy with a much better quality one or a well-recommended therapist. This problem happens to even smart, sane women unfortunately. Pretty much everyone likes attention so it's hard to cut off once you've got it. Girl needs to erase that *kitten*'s number off her phone and off her facebook page and focus on finding healthy social interactions (romantic or otherwise). After working in behavioral psychology for a few years, I've learned cutting off any bad habit will leave a void that needs filled with something positive. If the void is not replaced, the bad habit (ie. the *kitten*) will be back. :(
