I have run this day twice now. I am able to run the entire twenty minute, but have not run the entire two miles. The first day i was at 1.975 and the second day 1.923. Should I keep repeating until i get the entire two miles in or just move on.
It felt like a huge personal accomplishment to run both days without stopping but at the same time i am so disappointed with my pace.
33lbs down!!!!!!

Don't worry about your pace! You are doing the time based C25K, so all you need to do is 20 min. Move on. I was not running exactly 5K at the end of C25K, but now, 9 months later, I can run 5K in under 30 min easily. (I have run 13.1 miles too!) Just keep at it, as you add distance, your pace will naturally increase for the shorter distances.0

I recently started running a few months ago and in my experience I would say don't worry about pace right now. It will come gradually over time. When I started I was running 5 miles in 64 minutes. Now I can do that same distance in 43 minutes. Just stay dedicated and every couple of weeks try pushing the pace just a little harder.0

Sweet!!! I am running my first 13.1 next week. I have been using a training plan to get ready for it. If I can go from a fat smoker to a half marathon in 6 months then anyone can.0 -
Agreed - don't worry about the distance at this point, just the time. When I did the program, I never tracked my actual distance, just made sure I was running through the allotted time. By the time I finished the program, I was running the full 5k distance, no problem.0
